Hollywood star ROBERT DOWNEY JR. is ready to extend his family and have more children with his producer wife SUSAN LEVIN.
The 43-year-old actor has a son, Indio, 14, from his previous marriage to Deborah Falconer, which ended in 2004.
He went on to marry Levin in 2005, and admits the couple is ready to start their own family.
He says, “I want more children. I also want to travel, I talk about things I want to do a lot.”

Robert Downey Jr. says his ‘Iron Man’ suit fitted like a “gold titanium glove”.

The actor, who plays billionaire weapons contractor Tony Stark in the comic book movie, felt completely at ease wearing the suit of armour that gives his character superhuman strength.

Speaking at the UK premiere of ‘Iron Man’ at London’s Leicester Square last night (24.04.08), Robert said: “I loved playing ‘Iron Man’. That suit fit me like a gold titanium glove.

“It was a huge departure for me, but I hope we gave the audience their money’s worth.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Stark’s loyal assistant Pepper Potts in the movie based on the Marvel Comic book series, loved working with Robert and was surprised by how much fun she had shooting her first superhero film.

Gwyneth, who looked stunning in a black sequinned mini-dress and seven-inch black stilettos, said: “Who would have thought I would be in an action movie?

“Robert is one of the greatest living actors in the world. He is a wonderful human being and I hope to work with him for the rest of my life.”

The 35-year-old blonde actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, was also full of praise for the group’s hotly-anticipated new album ‘Viva La Vida’.

She said: “It is brilliant. Don’t tell him I told you that though!”

Terrence Howard recalls a moment on the set of “Iron Man” when his co-star, Robert Downey Jr., blew his mind.It was a scene in which Downey, playing billionaire arms maker Tony Stark, is conducting a press conference after escaping captivity from a band of insurgents in Afghanistan. Though the soundstage was lit so 400 extras playing journalists would be standing and shouting out questions, Downey suggested to director Jon Favreau that his character tell the crowd to sit on the floor.

“It was brilliant,” recalls Howard, the Oscar-nominated star of “Hustle & Flow.” “And Jon went with it. We relit it and it just took the scene to a whole other place.”

Fortunately, Downey doesn’t make a similar demand as he addresses a group of real journalists on the “Iron Man” set. After shooting a sequence in Stark’s lavish, high-tech home, Downey takes a few minutes to explain the thought-process behind his suggestion to restage the press conference scene. (more…)
