I apologise for not updating much rrecently, I am a bit behind on things. However, I have finally added pictures of Robert of the set of Sherlock Holmes!

Robert Downey Jr will be a brilliant Sherlock Holmes, according to the film’s director Guy Ritchie.

“I think Robert Downey Jr will make a brilliant Sherlock Holmes because he’s an intellectual superhero to a degree,” the director told Access Hollywood. “He has a brilliant mind and he’s quite physical. That’s a rare combo. Intellect and physicality. And he’s deft in both.”

Guy will direct the Iron Man star as the iconic detective, while Jude Law will join him as sidekick Dr Watson.

“I’m a fan of his and I believe Robert is a fan of mine,” said the director. “And although he didn’t know much about Sherlock Holmes at the time, he got quite enthused once I gave him the sales pitch down the phone. I convinced him by flattering him, and telling him it was a role that was worth doing.. Robert’s a very fit guy actually, much fitter than I thought he was. So it suits him very well. And he’s very smart. So it’s the perfect fit. I was aware of all these things and I assaulted him with all my weapons of persuasion and thankfully, he came on board.”
