Robert Downey Jr. says using the toilet was his hardest ‘Iron Man’ stunt.
The actor says the bulky costume he had to wear for his title role in the superhero film made going to the bathroom incredibly difficult.
He told DVD and Blu-ray Review magazine: “It’s not always easy to pee when you’re in that suit. In fact, my visiting the bathroom was probably the greatest stunt in the entire film!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Tropic Thunder’ star has expressed his regret at Terrence Howard being dropped from the ‘Iron Man’ sequel.
The actor has been replaced as Tony Stark’s best friend Jim Rhodes by Don Cheadle in the forthcoming follow-up, but Robert insists he had nothing to do with the decision.
He told MTV: “I had nothing to do with that decision. I love Terrence very very much. That’s all I’ll say because I haven’t talked to him yet.
“It’s one of those situations where I still don’t quite know what happened or why. Here’s what happens too; things happen and you wind up commenting on them before you’ve actually talked to the people and it’s in poor taste.”
