Have you been watching Super Bowl XLVI? Even if you have, you may want to check out the video above: an extended cut of the Avengers trailer as aired during this year’s game! There’s still some mystery around the movie – namely, the villains – but speculations have been running rampant based on various clips in this trailer. The whole team is shown, and (of course) RDJ as Tony Stark has some great moments to shine among the rest of the magnificent cast.

When talking to Omelete, Robert Downey Jr. confirmed his interest in the upcoming film, Pinocchio, to (hopefully) be directed by Tim Burton. You can check out a video of the brief interview in the link above (where he also talks about Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Iron Man 3), or just read a couple of highlighted bits below:
On Pinocchio: “I want to talk to him about it, yeah! C’mon, it’s Tim Burton.”
On Iron Man 3: “I think that we have an opportunity with the third Iron Man to make the best of the three, and maybe one of the better superhero movies that’s ever been made. But I think we have to remember what made the first one good. It was very character-driven. It was very odd. It was kind of outrageous. And so I think we have to have the courage to trust that the audience is really kind of cool, and smart.”

Many thanks to Rene for uploading Robert Downey Jr.’s latest appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” He was on the talk show last night, December 5th, talking about – what else? – Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. He shares some set stories while working on the film, his recent performance with Sting on the famous musicians 60th birthday, and even reveals the sex of his and Susan’s baby. There’s some fun, good-natured jabs between him and Jay as well. Check out the video above!
Edit: You can also check out a behind-the-scenes clip with Bryan Branly here.
Here are even more interviews from the Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows press junket featuring Robert Downey Jr., this time from Access Holiday. There are three videos in total (two can be viewed below, by clicking “Show”), with a myriad of topics touched, from Mel Gibson to raising a baby with Susan and keeping their relationship strong.
Cosmic Book News has been gracious enough to upload nine new clips of the highly anticipated Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The videos can all be seen above, the latter nine by clicking on “Show.” Be warned: there are obvious (albeit mild) spoilers, so watch at your own risk!
Although the interview was never posted here at RDJ Web, you may also want to check out Robert and Jude talking about the film on set via Collider. It’s very lengthy and definitely worth checking out if you haven’t yet already.
A new featurette on Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows aired last night on “Entertainment Tonight,” which is just a brief look at the film with some behind the scenes footage thrown in. If you’re interested in seeing more from the interview clips show in that featurette, you can check them out below. The first video is primarily about the film itself, in which Robert elaborates on the plot (with emphasis on Moriarty) and dishes more on Noomi Rapace’s role in the franchise. In the second video, he touches on his relationship with Jude Law and the shared work ethic with director Guy Ritchie.
