New ‘Iron Man 3′ Concept Art + Filming Info

Marvel has released new concept art for Iron Man 3, illustrated by Ryan Meinerding. Depicting Tony Stark half-dressed in his armor, it appears he’s in a bit of a jam while faced with machine-gun wielding soldiers. If you’re lucky enough to be attending Comic-Con this year, be sure to stop by the Marvel booth: they’ll be handing out prints of this artwork.

Additionally, for fans in North Carolina, some filming information for IM3 has been released via Facebook. They’ll be filming on location in Wilmington, NC on July 9th, if you’re interested in stopping by to check out some movie magic in person. Iron Man 3 will be filming on location July 9th in Wilmington, N.C.

For the past couple of weeks Robert Downey, Jr. and the crew of Iron Man 3 have been keeping a low profile and mostly filming in studio, but that will change next week when they are scheduled to spend another day filming on location in Wilmington, N.C.

“Caged,” aka Iron Man 3, is expected to film scenes at 1223 N. 23rd Street in Wilmington on July 9, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
