See Robert Downey Jr. in Chicago for the low low price of $400
If you’ve ever asked yourself, “How much would I pay to see Robert Downey Jr. in person?” you now have a reason to consider the answer.
The “Iron Man” star will appear June 19 at the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute’s annual benefit, held 6-10 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. There Downey will receive the “Gene Siskel Film Center Renaissance Award” and participate in a discussion hosted by “The Hangover” director Todd Phillips. Seems like a little bit of discrepancy in talent level there, ay?
Tickets ($400-$1,000/person, $5,000-$50,000/table) are on sale now at 312-846-2072. Proceeds benefit the Siskel Center’s presentations, lecture series and discussions with visiting scholars and filmmakers. [Source]
